Last week Entertainment Weekly called it “a stripper outfit”. Yesterday on the Beat someone said it made her look like a “prostitute.” I’ve also heard hooker, slut, streetwalker and plenty of other descriptors.

So much fail.

What Wonder Woman wears has nothing to do with her sex life or…

( Oh my god. Why isn’t there an outrage against Emma Frost, who wears a goddamn sparkly bra, if not a corset or a midriff-baring bustier, and also has a personality to match? )

I have a lot to say about the way females are depicted in comics, and the way media reacts. For now I will just stand and give this post the best, most serious slow clap I can offer.
